2026/27 FIS requirement
For the 2026/27 season, cut-resistant Pants are mandatory at all FIS Alpine Skiing events. They must provide at least FIS 3-star protection (300 N under the FIS-DITF test standard) and cover everywhere between the iliac crest and the onset of the ski boot. Cut-resistant shirts remain strongly recommended.
