The new Protector EVO PR 11 GW binding features our innovative Full Heel Release (FHR) technology and promises outstanding safety by significantly reducing release forces in forward and especially backward twisting falls. Thanks to the intelligent 180° heel release, horizontal and vertical, the load on the knee is significantly reduced, ensuring safer skiing. This leads to a significant reduction and mitigation of knee injuries. As the binding is based on Head's PowerRail technology, it works with all skis with a pre-mounted PR Base. Moreover, the binding is GripWalk compatible and can be used with alpine and GripWalk ski boots. This binding innovation is for all piste skiers, whether young or old, beginner or advanced. In addition to the innovative FHR technology of the updated heel, the new VX toe offers all TYROLIA safety features, such as BTR kinematics, AFS and Full Diagonal toe.

AUXETIC - Auxetic is a unique structure that expands in width when stretched in length. In our skis, this means the structure strengthens under pressure.
SUPERFRAME - As the ski flexes in the turn the Auxetic material expands within the construction it builds up pressure pushing against the Superframe causing the ski to get stiffer the more it flexes.
GRAPHENE - GRAPHENE is the thinnest and lightest element ever discovered by mankind. GRAPHENE is also the strongest material on the planet, stronger than diamond and 300 times stronger than steel, all in the thickness of one atom.
BETTER BALANCE - This ski is equipped with a Better Balance Base.
The inclined Better Balance Base provides a constant ramp angle for all boot sole sizes, ensuring that all skiers enjoy the same mechanical advantage for easy turn initiation and stability at high speeds.
PROTECTOR READY - This ski is ready for PROTECTOR.
The PROTECTOR binding works with all skis with pre-mounted PowerRail or SuperLiteRail base. All flat skis work with the PROTECTOR Attack binding or the PROTECTOR SET versions.
Thanks to its FULL HEEL RELEASE function, the PROTECTOR binding can reduce ACL strain by more than 50%* in the event of a fall.
